Coulda been better
"Shawn James, his incredible voice and songs, I love. Even tho somewhat disappointed in the concert, mind you, I've gone to many concerts. His ear piece, I was wondering if that had something to do with the pitch being off on some of his best songs, for him AND the backup, as 1, I know he can sing awesome, and 2, he even was frustrated with it at one point and stopped the song. The speakers weren't helping, it was like the feedback was messing up us hearing the great song and the music, so I was disappointed in the song then, because it wasn't up to par. I thought, why isn't the sound man fixing it? That happened to some of the first few songs. Shawn's acrobatics were fun to watch, however, I do think he loses a personal touch and connecting to audience because of it. I think u could tell the difference. It's not Cirque de Solei (sp). That was much more personal when he actually flew out to crowd, the last number. He did great on all that, kudos to him for learning. I am sure that is an experience he won't forget, and hey, that is what life is about, the journey. The show was too raunchy, I thought, with that weird creepy guy. Use something else to tie his theme together, who cares about seeing him? He could dump him in a heartbeat, no pun intended."
